The Sundström SR 700 Fan Unit is a fantastic option if you are looking for a powered respirator unit for use in dusty environments.
The SR 700 is battery powered, taking between 1.5 and 2 hours to fully charge, providing you with approximately 8 hours of constant use. It is worn in a belt so the majority of the weight is held in your lower back and not incorporated within the head top keeping it very light and wearable.
Because the SR 700 provides you with powered, filtered air, the constant airflow is much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It stops condensation building up on the interior of the head top, and also prevents fogging making it a great option for glasses-wearers.
Powered, air-fed units are also one of the few options truly suitable for workers with facial hair as other options, such as half face masks which require a seal are not suitable under Health and Safety Regulations.
The SR 700 is only suitable for P3 (particulate) filters, therefore if you have a requirement for use of gas filters you would be better off with the SR 500 fan unit found here; or if you need the full setup (fan and head top) you can find this here.

For Unwanted Items: If you are not happy with your purchase or have simply changed your mind, please get in touch with us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will happily issue a refund. The refund is subject to us receiving the goods back undamaged, in their original packaging with all labels intact ready for re-sale. For unwanted respiratory PPE, we can only refund or exchange if we receive the goods back unopened and unused due to health and safety reasons.
We do not charge restocking fees at JC Safety, but if you have changed you mind you will be required to return the goods at your own cost, fully insured to the amount of the goods in case of loss.
